Description of the project/ service: Content management system and configuration of multimedia devices in the network of branded beauty supply stores.

Key topics:

• Construction of a content management system and configuration for mobile devices located in the beauty supply store chain, therefore enabling exploring and virtual testing of cosmetics by the customers and the selection of cosmetics from a selected product line
• In addition, the transfer of knowledge of modern technologies, mainly Node.js, to the Customer’s team.

Business goal:

• Facilitating and accelerating of content publishing on dozens of multimedia devices in many stores, thanks to automation and remote administration
• Increasing the competence of the Customer’s IT team in terms of Node.js technology.

Range (solutions):

• Pilot implementation will be carried out in a store in New York
• Planned subsequent implementations in dozens of other stores in the network, including outside the US

Challenges:

• Analysis of requirements and their conversion to a design of a detailed technical solution.
• Comprehensive estimation of effort workload
• Optimizing the scope of the project in terms of its business efficiency by identifying and eliminating system components, which do not generate additional business value adequate to the costs
• Creation of more than a CMS – a system that allows to manage both the content and configuration of devices in multiple locations.
• Working with a dispersed team located in 4 cities in Europe and the USA.
• iOS application integration.
• Processing of video files.
